The right arrangement depends on the app, workload and information involved. I explain the costs and responsibilities in a written proposal after the first conversation.

- Initial work
- The agreed review, pilot, app work, access changes, imports or migration. Any paid discovery has its own scope and price before it starts.
- Hosting and storage
- The services and accounts that run the application, data and background jobs. Identify capacity, usage basis, backups, retention and any provider charges.
- Model usage
- The selected provider or separately scoped model-hosting arrangement. We identify who holds the account, who pays, how usage is counted and the controls available. Supplier usage is normally visible in accounts you own; the proposal records the actual arrangement.
- Management
- The monitoring, maintenance, backup/recovery checks, usage review and support arrangements included in the continuing fee. Additional development or connections are identified separately.
- API integration and controls
- For a London-routed API, the proposal names compatibility work, eligible models, per-key controls, reporting and the checks needed before production use. A public self-service gateway, included token plans and reseller billing are not included unless expressly commissioned.
- Limits and changes
- Distinguish warning thresholds from enforced request limits, and agree what happens when a limit or provider failure is reached. Workload and supplier changes need a review route; no unlimited allowance or guaranteed maximum bill is implied.
- Ending the service
- Monthly services follow the main terms and written scope: 30 days written notice and no refund for the current billing period. Provider charges, exports, handover and removal arrangements are agreed for the actual service.
Start with the real workload.
If the app already runs, bring the existing usage and bills. For a new service, we agree assumptions and use a pilot to check them before deciding on the continuing setup.
No fixed package, included token allowance or dedicated hardware is sold on this website. No VAT is currently charged. The written proposal and main service terms set out the agreement.
